Hazardous chemicals are natural or synthetic substances, which by virtue of their chemical, physical, toxicological or biological properties, may cause a hazard to human health, life, property and the environment. Dangerous substances, as well as other goods on the way to a consumer and many times with the consumer itself, spend a long time in the warehouses. Safe storage conditions should be observed by storing these types of substances. By storing hazardous chemicals correctly their unacceptable combinations or hazardous storage reactions should also be assessed. Various systems have been developed so far to identify incompatibilities of chemicals that are adapted to different work activities and are based on different principles. Each of them has both advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the interaction of nineteen chemical substances often used in the chemical laboratory of the Technical University in Zvolen, according to selected systems for identification of incompatibility.
