The bachelor thesis details „The assessment of the actual conditions of the wooden construction of the roof truss in the Andrej Sládkovič Museum in Krupina“. The aim of his thesis is the evaluation of the field survey of the actual condition of wooden constructions- roof truss, with subsequent evaluation of its real condition and recommendations for its repairs. The researched object belongs to Slovakiaʾs National Cultural heritage. The bachelor thesis describes the types of damage to the wooden elements caused by abiotic and biological factors. The field survey was conducted on a sensory basis (visually, tactile,...) and with the use of non destructive instrumental (hygrometer, ultrasound) methods, and it describes the risk points in the wooden truss with a more frequent and significant occurrence of abiotic and biological damage. Based on the experimental measurements gathered from the field survey, the results are evaluated and processed tabulary, graphically and photo- documentary. The thesis does not deal with its static assessment.
