The Bachelor thesis is focused on problem-solving of the youth entrepreneurship in Slovakia. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the status of the young and beginning entrepreneurs in the current business sphere in Slovakia, specifically in Banska Bystrica and its region. The identification of the factors influencing young people´s effort to start their business and a proposal of measures for improving the current state. The theoretical part includes the defined terms such as company, business, an entrepreneur, factors influencing business and identification of the current state of the addressed issues both at home and abroad. Moreover, the main reasons for starting a business for young people as well as their options. In order to obtain the most accurate information about the young people interest in business, an anonymous questionnaire was designed to be completed online or even personal meeting could have been provided. Obtained through those outcomes, the result section was graphically processed. At the end of the bachelor thesis, the measures were designed which practical implementation could provide support for existing entrepreneurs, as well as the beginning young entrepreneurs in Banska Bystrica district.
