Zvolen: TU, 2019. 49 s.The bachelor thesis deals with the current issues in the field of innovations and their relation to the environment. Its aim is to evaluate the perception of selected ecological innovation, which is represented by an ecological alternative wastewater treatment plant - the root wastewater treatment plant. The theoretical part provides an insight into innovation with a focus on eco-innovations that represent a relatively new area. The practical part is focused on the actual evaluation of the perception of root wastewater treatment plants as an ecological innovation through inquiry. The results point to a low level of knowledge in this area, but with a high potential for adopting this eco-innovation by respondents in Slovakia after obtaining sufficient information.
