This thesis explains importance of application of CNC machining centers in furniture production, advantages resulting from its use, and different types of machining centers divided by several criteria. There are also different types of furniture joints described and divided into several categories in this thesis, especially joints designed specifically for manufacturing by CNC machines. Main point of this bachelor thesis is to find required/ideal accuracy of furniture joints produced by CNC technology and factors influencing joints accuracy. Bachelor thesis further discuss issues resulting from too high and also from too low production accuracy, and ways to affect it.
