The aim of the bachelor thesis is analysis of Slovak engineering companies by application of SWOT analysis together with determine of their company strategy. The content of the work is composed of 4 main parts. Theoretical part describes general analysis of SWOT analysis and importance for engineering companies. Then we describe and analyse strengths and weaknesses of SWOT analysis with strategies of companies. Methodology of research consists in procedure for elaboration of SWOT analysis, external environment assessment and example for processing of SWOT analysis. The content of the third part is SWOT analysis and business focus of companies with summary of SWOT analysis. Then we analyse the results, which we will use for strategy determination of companies. In the last part of the thesis are conclusions. The results of bachelor thesis will be applied in solution of project KEGA 011TU Z-4/2017.
