The diploma thesis is focused on design of electric fire alarm system (EFA) for multifunctional social center. The theoretical part explains the principle of combustion, fire hazard and basic description and function of EFA and its individual components and accessories. In the practical part is explain the draft EFA prepared according to the valid legislation. This system is designed to allow rapid detection and subsequent location of fire and, if necessary, can automatically activate fire-fighting equipment. In this way, it minimizes the possible damage to property and protects human lives.
