The theme of our diploma thesis deals with the question whether the macroeconomic indicators influence the motivational factors in Slovakia. Research consists of a statistical analysis of the level of motivation between years 2008 and 2019 and macroeconomic indicators between years 2007 to 2017 in Slovakia. Statistical analysis was evaluated using programme STATISTICA 12. We evaluated significant influence of evolving macroeconomic indicator on the motivating factors in the same year and also in the case of movement motivating factors one year ahead towards macroeconomic indicators. In the second case we evaluated even more statistical dependencies. Macroeconomic indicators such as household debt, average annual wages and social spending has significant influence in direct linear dependence on the motivating factors. In case of dependence by social spending, we measured the strongest correlation. Macroeconomic indicator of labor productivity has indirect linear dependence on the motivating factors. Macroeconomic factor such as GDP, inflation, health spending and employment rate did not determine any statistically significant dependence on the 10 most important motivating factors. We can point out that motivation factors were influenced by changes in the macroeconomic indicators in Slovakia.
