The thesis deals with the analysis of innovative solutions of active and intelligent packaging. In the first part of the thesis we deal with the theoretical knowledge of the solved problems, which are related to this thesis. We focus on innovations, definitions, but also the breakdown of innovations, Valenta's innovation spectrum as well as intelligent innovations. We define active and intelligent packaging and try to highlight the differences between them. Subsequently, we focus on analyzing the perception of active and intelligent packaging in Slovakia through the Kano model. The results point to a low awareness of the issue.
