It consists of two parts, from the theoretical background and the results of the analysis. The pension system in Slovakia, advantages and disadvantages of pension funds are described in the section focused on theoretical background. Moreover, the pillars of the pension system are characterised there. The analysis of the performance of pension funds in Allianz d. s. s., a. s and further comparison of individual funds (bond, stock) to other funds in all pension management companies in Slovakia are described in the section of the thesis results. With regard to the analyses of the mentioned pension funds in the years 2014 - 2018, it can be said that investing in equity funds is worth more than in bond funds.
