Master thesis is focused on the proposal of the competitive strategy for the company I.K.M. REALITY - STAVING, Banská Bystrica, a.s. Moreover, the aim of the thesis is to improve the company competitiveness on the civil engineering market. State-of-the-art of the company is analysed in more detail, it means its position on the market or what can be improved in following years. Defining the weaknesses is an important step in order to find possibilities to keep ahead of the competition in the industry sector. The thesis consists of four sections. Theoretical knowledge dealing with the issue mentioned by domestic and foreign authors in various publications is in the first section of the thesis. The second section is devoted to the aim of the thesis. Methodology, so the methods used in the analysis of the I.K.M. REALITY - STAVING Banská Bystrica, a.s. are presented in the third section. Research results, description of the company I.K.M. REALITY - STAVING Banská Bystrica, a.s. and given competitive strategy proposal are mentioned in the fourth section.
