Degree of academic qualification – Engineer, abbreviated Ing.The aim of the diploma thesis “The survey of perception of (un)ethical aspects in advertising” to find out to the extent respondents perceive selected unethical elements of advertising and their experience they have in the given field. The aim of the thesis was also to point out the principles of advertising that should be followed to make the advertising to be considered ethically acceptable. In the thesis we focus on the development of advertising from its beginnings to its present form, including the characterization of the most famous types of advertising. The ethical aspect of marketing, the Code of Ethics for Advertising, and the Advertising Council are closely related to the unethical aspect of advertising, which should oversee adherence to ethical principles in advertising. The practical part is devoted to the survey realized through the questionnaire and its evaluation.
