The master thesis "Concept of corporate social responsibility and its implementation in businesses in the Slovak Republic" was prepared in order to get a closer look at the issues of corporate social responsibility and its implementation in business in the theoretical and practical levels. The main aim of the master thesis was to compare the socially responsible activities performed and the state of its implementation in selected businesses. The first chapter of the thesis was focused on obtaining, analyzing and processing professional knowledge about the problem from several authors. The obtained information was subsequently used in the processing of further chapters of the thesis. The second chapter of the thesis was focused on obtaining substantiated information directly from practice - from specific selected enterprises. The information was collected on the basis of questionnaire survey carried out between businesses with socially responsible business and those that have recently been the most profitable. The analysis and processing of the results of the questionnaire surveys showed an ever-increasing number of businesses seeking to implement social responsibility. Also, the growing quality and scope of corporate social responsibility activities has been demonstrated. These results were subsequently provided to the businesses that contacted us with this request. The final part of the thesis was devoted to proposals for measures to improve social responsibility and its implementation in enterprises in the Slovak Republic. All proposals for measures, together with questions about the degree of feasibility, were sent to the state authorities responsible for corporate social responsibility, but the answer was not received.
