The aim of the master thesis was evaluated the effect of technologic factors on the energy intensity (cutting power) apply to face milling of the tempered wood – Meranti. Meranti is exotic type of ThermoWood. In the first part of the thesis we studied theoretical analysis of the tempered wood, type of milling, types of milling tools and energy intensity. The second part of the master thesis deals with the experiment of tempered wood (T = 160 °C, T = 180 °C, T = 200 °C, T = 220 °C) and technological factors affected cutting power (cutting speed – vc and displacement speed – vf). The master thesis summarize the process of prepare the wood sample. The wood sample was thermo adapted later. The last part of the thesis is targets to the evaluation of measured data and execution of measured data. Data was evaluated in statistical software Statistica 12. The main aim of the thesis was find the parameter which major effect on the cutting power.
