Marek Trenčiansky, PhD. Zvolen: TU 2020The aim of the work was to analyze and evaluate the economic efficiency of the use of solar energy. The thesis presents the various types of photovoltaic systems and their use, support and legislation of photovoltaics in Slovakia and the possibilty of enviromental impact. In the practial part of the thesis is worked out financial-economic analysis of the company XY, which invested in photovoltic power plant. The thesis examines the economic efficiency of a photovoltaic power plant in the production of electricity from the Sun, the costs associated with the constructon and operacion of the building, and therevenues from the sale of generated electricity. Dynamic methods of investment project eveluation were used from the economic analysis of the project.
