According to hunters, joint game hunting is a special and festive event that has its charm, where pheasants fly out of your chains, jiggling rabbits pop out from under your feet. They are not only about the shooting but also about traditions, habits and meeting friends. In small game hunting districts, the season of the main hunting season begins on 1 November under current legislation and lasts until 15 January. A small game over a long time was a significant hunting species, but its numerous stocks are beginning to be absent clearly in the game. The thesis characterizes the small game, management and current unflattering situation of small games in Slovakia as well as in the breeding complex M VI Nitra 2. No doubt, let's say that the jarabica, pheasant, and hare disappear within a few years from our fields and meadows. To prevent this, effective solutions for the conservation of these habitats need to be applied in practice. Hunters are entrusted to the care of state property, its irreplaceable natural wealth, and this includes the obligation to intervene to protect it.
