A radiactive material is also included in the dangerous substances. The bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of this material and it defines what does radioactivity mean more closely. This type of the dangerous material is transported within the Slovak republic, as well as in the world. It is included in the so-called exclusive class. Dangerous substances and substances belonging to exclusive classes may only be transported in a single vehicle and special methods of loading, transport and unloading must be used. Other items are excluded from the transport.When radioactive materials are transported, the laws and the rules of ADR (European Carriage of Goods by Road) must be obeyed.
