This thesis on the theme of Evaluation of causes and consequences of damages of forests in VC Dolina Kendice evaluates before all the damaging activity of wildlife in selected JPRL, the way of living and aspects of ecology of these animals. In the next part of this thesis there is a detailed description of damages caused by cloven-hoofed animals and the relation between the damages and the form of agricultural methods and techniques selected. We explain the forms of protection against wildlife with active, biological, mechanical and hunting defense. Further mentioned are law-given regulations and responsibilities of subjects protecting forest growths, procedures for claiming damages connected to standardized formulas for calculations of damages. Furthermore the thesis evaluates the individual growths by the terms of specific damages inflicted by wildlife. The thesis continues with an elaboration of the causes and consequences of damages on future development of the woods and divides them by damages and growths. Comparing the individuals growths based on input data and data acquired during terrain research. In the last part of the thesis the comparisons of the individual growths are stated while also we evaluate the causes of the damages and proposed measures to prevent further damages inflicted to the woods.
