The proportional share of incidental fellings in Slovakia has a tendency to grow which affects wood prices. The aim of this thesis is to compare the centralized log conversion depots in Namestovo branch based on the wood conversion, assortments made, and prices of the assortments. There are four handling-dispatch with these cross-cutting lines – cross-cutting line 25, 40, 80, and Baljer-Zembrod cross-cutting line. The information of the handling-dispatch observed in this thesis comes from the supervisors of the depots, and the officer in charge of sales entrusted with the management of the economic sector. Handling-dispatch are handling mainly soft wood. The largest proportional share of assortments they made are of the wood of the III.rd quality degree. It is assumed that the proportional share of incidental fellings will continue to grow therefore the upgrade of the cross-cutting lines 25 and 80 will be needed to improve performance in the depots.
