The diploma thesis offers a view of the author´s solution of the product that reflects the concepts of tradition, craft, and material. Our goal was to create a product that is by its use an everyday part of your lives. Specific products, chairs, carry an imaginary reference to today's time when craft is losing from our lives. Fast lifestyle is also reflected in the production of products, thereby losing in uniqueness and partly quality.The work is divided into two main parts. The first part is focused on theoretical processing, that is mainly focused on gathering information and analyzing current trends and market situation. The second part of the thesis focuses on the author´s solution of the given topic. The individual chapters offer insight into the process of creation from the first concepts, through various shape or material solutions to the final process. The conclusion of the thesis presents the final chair design.
