The issue of the financial market and mediation of financial products is today a frequently discussed topic. It has the most connection especially on the current consumers, who are often the victims of unfair practices by sellers. In consideration of the upcoming completion of university studies, this topic has been gained a higher emphasis on its knowledge. The main target of the thesis called: “Unfair practices of financial providers”, was to achieve a clearer view on the forms of unfair practices occurring on the financial market in view of legislative and also financial providers and financial consumer.After obtaining the basic information formed the background of this work, we could find out the occurrence of unfair practices through realized survey and we got the view also from providers and consumers. The results were interpreted in a final summary, suggesting incentives to improve the financial intermediation market and increase financial literacy associated with interest in financial-type products.
