The objective of this diploma thesis is to focus on the matter of creating fire dividing structures. The contents of this diploma thesis comprises of characteristics and distribution of fire dividing structures, its main goal and utilization in fire safety of constructions. It also focuses on legislation, which sets minimal requirements on given fire dividing structures and describes working procedures, according to which should be these structures created. However, the main goal of this diploma thesis is the comparison of two fire dividing structures. The comparison is made by creating two almost identic fire dividing structures which are later heat-applied by heat radiation panel. The results of this test indicate that although both of these models were made within the legislation and working procedures, they are not heat resistant in the same way.
