The diploma thesis deals with the deployment and use of forces and means of fire brigades in the intervention area of the fire station of the Fire and Rescue Corps of the Slovak Republic in Krupina. In the first chapter, the thesis deals with the current state of deployment of forces and means in Slovakia and in selected European countries. The next chapter describes the methodology of nationwide deployment of forces and means of fire brigades. This thesis analyses the current state of the intervention area of the fire station in Krupina as well as the current status of voluntary municipal fire brigades. The main aim of the thesis is to design a deployment of forces and means by using of voluntary municipal fire brigades based on the analysis of the actual state of this intervention area.
