The bachelor´s thesis is focused on a fast-growing tree-species cultivation and utilization possibilities of alternative fertilizers for a biomass productivity increase. The thesis summarises a basic information, knowledges and legislative measures in regard to plantation foundation and management of fast-growing tree species, as a prospective source of biomass for obtaining energy from renewable sources. The thesis contains characteristics of a rose acacia, poplar tree and a willow tree as representatives of fast-growing tree species and specifically also a basket willow (Salix viminalis L.), which was planted on a demonstration object of the University forestry enterprise. A part of the thesis is aimed at formation characteristic, chemical composition, adjustments possibilities and legislative measures relating to the aplication of wood ash and sewage sludges to forest and agricultural land in Slovakia. Wood ash and sewage sludges are used for fertilization of plantations of fast-growing tree species as substitute for atificial fertilizers. A description of the demonstration object RRD of the Technical univerzity in Zvolen is also a part of the thesis.
