The theme of my final thesis is the architectural and urban design of a residential complex in Bratislava - Harbour City. The lot is located near the Old Town and the influencing factor is the new construction in the surrounding area, which will change it and the locality will be more important part in Bratislava. The area surrounds the streets: Mlynské Nivy in the north, Bajkalská from the east and Pristavná in the south. The aim of the urban design was to create a new residential complex in the area. The proposed objects combines housing in apartment buildings, a more luxurious standard terraced family house and also administrative part at the end of the site. There is a polyfunction, too. Among the blocks of buildings are outdoor spaces for the leisure-time and sport. Near to the administrative building is a square lika a pre-space. Family houses are an experiment, which is like an intersection between living in flat and in a family house. The objects are in blocks of buildings and in this way they are separated from the noisy communication near the area. In a north part od area is administartive building , which is dominant. The aim of the thesis was to solve the selected part of the urban design in the form of architectural study.
