The landscape area of Vyšné Hágy is part of a recreational-landscape complex of the High Tatras, where the selected settlement serves as the main function of spa treatment and housing. The main aim of the thesis was to design the landscape space to promote spa-tourism and to harmonize spa treatment activities with building high quality public spaces as well as entry points to major tourist sites and routes. Additional aim is to utilize the potential of the natural environment for further development of spa and treatment facilities, climatotherapy and popular touristic activities like hiking, cycling, sightseeing and other.
