Marek, Petrík: Polyfunctional House in Selected Location, Bratislava. [Masterthesis]. – Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. FACULTY OFARCHITECTURE; Lecturer:Ing. arch: Klára Macháčová, PhD. ; FA STU BA, 2018.The main subject of my work is the design of a multifunctional complex onŠancová Street in Bratislava, so that it fits into the surrounding area by its design. The territory's potential is mainly due to its excellent accessibility to the citycenter. The multifunctional complex is designed as 5 separate but interconnectedbuildings, each of which represents a different function, but together they createa harmonious and functional whole. The spatial concept is complemented by anunderground shelter surrounded by a forest to serve as a cultural hideaway forthe bustle of the city. The main idea behind the proposal is to create a comprehensive space for the activities of visitors and residents of the complex as well asthe surroun-ding buildings. The proposal respects the surrounding development, and the regulations of the city planning scheme of Bratislava and brings newinteresting space for active people.
