Zvolen: LF TU, 2018. 52 p.The main topic of bachelor thesis is to define cable system in forest accumulating wood, maps of the origin and the development in wood grouping helped by funicular railways in Slovakia and abroad as well. We also characterize the current situation and the perspective way of cable system in accumulating wood in Slovakia. We focus on the historical development of cable ways around the world, in previous Czechoslovakia and in actual Slovakia. We describe the work and the meaning of cable ways used in specific countries. The aim of bachelor thesis is to show and to sum up the history, the present and the perspective of cable ways and funicular railways in accumulating wood of forestry in Slovakia. The thesis describe different possibilities and conditions of accumulating wood through the cable ways in Slovakia. It points out the ecological meaning and characterize different types of cable ways which are used nowadays.
