The bachelor thesis is focused on the current persistent problems of small game animals in Nitra district.The content of our work is to characterize small game animals from biological and ecological point of view.One of main aim is to take into consideration the management of small game animals and subsequently to highlight the flaws associated with mismanagement, especially of the small game animals based on hunting policy.In one of the following chapters we will point out the environmental impact of the small game animals, which has heavy effect on the survival of selected species of small game animals.The bachelor's thesis also includes a detailed description of the MVI breeding area. Nitra, focused on detailed division for individual breeding units, their areas and abundance of hunting grounds.The main part is the evaluation of the development of the trunk (NKS, JKS) of small game animals in the breeding units MVI. Nitra. At the same time, we will compare the catches of individual small game species over the past five years and also, we will analyse the causes associated with the data.At the end of the work we will point out possible measures related to possible ways of improving the natural habitat of the game animals, which would improve their conditions in the district of Nitra.
