The thesis deals with the design and revitalization of the premises in the Bratislava Forest Park for the purpose of its recreational use. In the first part of this work I deal with the definitions and differences, between the forest park and the park forest, the definitions of protected areas and protected bird areas. In the next chapter I deal with the functions of greenery and typology of designing natural areas. The main part was to carry out a field survey of the forest park and to identify possible problems and shortcomings that can be improved and designed correctly. Then I created a series of analyzes that led to the correct solution of selected areas of the forest park. The main analyzes were mapping of water, forests, protected areas located directly in the forest park, a network of hiking trails, cycling routes and overall assessment of the current state. By creating additional analyzes, where I created a list of possible activities in the park, I assessed how these activities would affect the overall character of the park. The suitability of the activities, the sensitivity of the area to certain activities and the overall impact on the territory were assessed. Subsequently, all the coefficients from the previous analyzes were calculated and I created a capacity analysis - where the most suitable activities are concentrated with the lowest impact on the surrounding landscape. In a more detailed solution, I focused on the unified design of the elements to make them authentic to the environment and not to create the feeling that they don´t belong to this area. In the more detailed proposals, I have devoted myself to several areas such as the meadow of Snežienka, the Long Meadow, the U Slivu intercepting road and finally the revitalization of the parking lot from the direction from Rača.
