The diploma thesis deals with the issue of hand tools production with the emphasis on the analysis of the quantitative yield of blanks. It describes production technology, namely cutting and woodworking. It contains an analysis of the current state of the issue in a particular company dealing with the production of wooden handles. We analyze the quantitative yield of blanks, reveal the causes of the high proportion of waste, and provide a possible solution to achieve an increase in quantitative yield in blanks. Focusing only on part of the cutlery.
