This thesis deals with mobile robotics, provides an insight into the hardware and software side of a mobile robot. The work collects basic information about the Arduino platform, its development boards, about its hardware modules and software. Thesis also collects information about 3D printers and software for 3D modeling. Furthermore, the thesis describes the processes of building the robot. The thesis consists of four parts, the first is an introduction to the issue, an overview of history. The second part describes the exact goals and objectives of the work. In the practical part, the work focuses on the planning, design and construction of a mobile robot on the Arduino platform and programming of the assembled robot. The final part summarizes the content of the entire development, from the individual parts of the robot to the functional model.
