The topic of the thesis is Evaluation of breeding and hunting of deer in the district of Zvolen with regard to the damage caused by game. Using the obtained statistical data and available literature we tried to approach the area of interest, analyse care and overall management of game in the individual hunting districts integrated in the hunting areas in the district of Zvolen. Within the individual chapters we analysed the history, importance and legislation of hunting in general. We defined ways of forest damage, game management, we also characterized the geomorphological structure of the area of interest, but also the scope and effectiveness of hunting grounds. Using the statistics of the District Hunting Chamber in Zvolen and the National Forest Centre in Zvolen, we evaluated and graphically depicted hunting and rearing of artiodactyl according age classifications, sex structure, mortality, trapping game and trophy awards. At the same time, we also introduced standardized stem states and the size of the hunting ground according to game quality classes. The evaluation also included a balance of damages caused by artiodactyl in the selected hunting grounds in the period from 2016 to 2018, namely in the forestry and agriculture.
