In the theoretical part are characterized the text, the features of the text and advice on how to work with it. Various methods of text analysis are also described. In the practical part, selected methods are used for three chemistry textbooks for elementary schools. All are from one editor. The research results are recorded and evaluated in charts and graphs. At the same time, the answers of students and teachers to the textbook questionnaire are evaluated here. The purpose of the analysis is to help determine the quality of the textbooks.
