Bartovič, Adam Martin: Use of sensors in STEM projects. - Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Faculty of Science. Department of Applied Infor-matics - thesis supervisor: Mgr. Martin Capay PhD. - Nitra UKF, 2020 The aim of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with the sensors found in the Crowtail Start Kit for micro:bit and then use them in projects. The work was divi-ded into theoretical and experimental part. In the theoretical part, the reader will be informed about the basics of micro:bit and the concept of STEM and finally with the various sensors found in the Crowtail Start Kit. On the otherhand, in the practical part we will focus on working with the sensors, which will be used in vari-ous interesting projects. With the resulting projects, we want to acquaint the readers with micro:bit programming with the help of the Mu editor based on the Python language and the block editor MakeCode. We have found that it is easier to work with the MakeCode editor thanks to its block programming, in which the student does not have to worry about badly written syntax.
