Riešené územie sa nachádza v Trenčíne, v jeho mestskej časti Zamarovce, na ľavom brehu rieky Váh. V súčasnosti je tvorené existujúcou zástavbou bývalého odevného závodu OZETA a plochy územia priľahlého futbalového štadióna. V náväznosti na územie sa nachádza hrádza a zátopové územie s chránenou zeleňou. V budúcnosti tvorí táto zeleň potencionál rekreačného využitia v kontakte riešenej lokality. Územie, ktoré je predmetom môjho záujmu je značne devastované a schátrané. Svojou polohou predstavuje centrálne územie mestskej časti, obklopené prevažne malo a stredne podlažnou zástavbou. Zo severnej časti je to sústava odborných a stredných škôl s komplexom športového gymnázia, s priľahlým športoviskom. Na východnej strane je to zmiešaná bytová a občianska zástavba, s roztrúsenou občianskou vybavenosťou. Zo západu ohraničuje územie priemyselná oblasť, v tesnej náväznosti sú to skladové priestory. Južná strana je ohraničená spomínaným tokom rieky Váh a plochou záplavového územia.

Das Gebiet ist in Trencin entfernt, im Ortsteil Zamarovce am linken Ufer des Flusses Waag.
