Bachelor thesis of a polyfunctional apartment building develops project documentation for realization of the building. The apartment building is located near the centre of Bratislava, on the street Na križovatkách near Galvániho Street. Architectural design of the building deals not only with the creation of residential areas, but also with construction of polyfunctional building with the services for the residents of the apartment building. The designer of this project took the challenge to design an optimal solution from the perspective of architecture, structural engineers, TZB, fire safety, acoustics, thermal engineering and design of the building. The building of the apartment house is designed especially for young families with children. Thereabouts is a primary school and a tennis club where residents can spend their free time. Despite the fact that the apartment building has position close to a busy road, the building is located in that way, that the noise from the road do not impair the quality of life in this apartment building.
