The aim of diploma thesis was the complex indoor design of selected floors in the new-building SM(ART) HOUSE and their redesign at the indoor project level. The object is situated in sandlot at the Župné námestie -- town section Bratislava -- Staré mesto. Location is not built-up and is incorporated into line of surrounding buildings. Neighbouring buildings form limits of the location and also the build-up area what results in strict ordering and connection of interiors. Architectural program for building SM(ART) HOUSE was divided into four units. Two underground floors with connection to moat are designed for gastronomic purposes, the first overground floor representing a main entrance is defined as an assembly space, the second and the third floor are designed for the art purposes (exhibitions/shows, concerts) and the upper two floors are defined as residential area. Within this diploma thesis I solved the first underground floor, and the first, second, and the third overground floor. The repeated element in each solved floor was stairway and elevator in one line with toilets. The underground floor makes connection between coffee-house with terrace, toilets and storage. The first overground floor is designed as open-spaced foyer with info point and with interconnection to souvenir shop and curator's office. The second and third overground floor has the same floor projection. There are areas utilized as necessary (concerts, exhibitions, discussions, workshops, lectures, cinema, theatre...). Storages and technical rooms are associated with main entrances of these floors. Structural interior is designed basically. Wall surface is finished with different colour plaster but the same flooring material in each floor. In the central area the floor is covered with laminate, at the toilets with cast floor, in transfer area with large paving block and in storages with flag pavement. Structural floor is generally plastered without ceiling. Merely coffee-house has an atypical ceiling. All the floors have same door and window elements with uniform material and colour. However furnishing mobiliari and used lights are various. They are combined from different types and shapes but expressional associated by variety of colour not to have disturbing effect.
