This work presents a conceptual solution for the basement of the Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava, which area is used as a centre for multimedia research and expertise for architecture and also areas for students, teachers and public. The work is analysing the unused areas of school building and presents new solutions, which are beneficial for educational environment. This place could represent specific approach to teaching, through the interior for shared learning and through a variety of active elements. An extensive part of the work is devoted to the interior for shared learning which functionality creates a new approach to teaching. The next section describes area for relaxation and self_studying, which is in a timeless design and its functionality completes the overall disposition of the place. The conclusion is the description of the active elements proposed for the central area. The results of the task are drawing plans and visualization of the school interior.
