The thesis focuses on the design of a educational trail through the catastral territory of the village´s Ozdin and the village of Malinec. The theoretical part focuses on the issue of tourism, educational trail, also their history, types and basic marking of hiking trails. The following chapter is focused on financing environmental projects from national and foreign sources. Furthermore, the analysis of the cycling and hiking trails in the area is discussed.The application part summarizes the characteristics of the wider area of the area, abiotic and biotic conditions. Also included is the current landscape structure of the area, through which the proposed educational trail will lead, route design through this area, design and placement of information boards and proposal to promote the educational trail.
