Zvolen, 2020, 52 p.This bachelor thesis deals with current problems of timber haulage by lorries in Slovakia and in the surrounding countries. The first part deals with the history of timber transport and transport vehicles, the system of timber haulage sets, european legislation related to the timber haulage and problems related to timber haulage. The second part identifies trends in timber haulage sets within individual countries and legislation within individual countries. The aim of the thesis is to propose improvements of the situation, based on the suggestions of carriers.
