The main theme of the bachelor thesis is partition of fixtures in machinery industry. The thesis is divided into five sections. First section is focused to a fixture‘s characteristics and design process of welding fixtures, there is also partition of fixtures in a first section. Second section contains main types of setting points and surfaces, which are often used at the fixture design. Content of the third section is figure out in which manipulation devices is manipulation and work with fixtures facilitated. The fourth section is aimed to concepts of clamps in fixtures, there are noticed a modern clamping systems, there are also mentioned an advantages and disadvantages of a specific clamping types. A final section is focused to a clamp’s type, which are used in a fixtures very frequently.
