Management succession is a significant moment in a family business's life and an issue that requires analysis from the perspectives of family, management, and ownership systems in order to understand adequately the perspectives of the different stakeholders. The aim of this work is to find out how Slovak family businesses approaches to process of transfer business to the next owner or CEO and to prepare it for a long duration on the market and its prosperity. Achieved results were obtained through realization questionnaire survey which was aimed to mapping issues of transferring Slovak family businesses. In this work are from analyze of secondary and primary sources presented proposed measures, which can help them get over process of transfer to the next owner or CEO easier. At the end of this work are summarized theoretical and practical benefits.
