The bachelor thesis deals with modeling and evaluation of the development trend of selected economic indicators in the wood processing industry in the conditions of the Slovak Republic.The main goal of this work is to evaluate the development of selected economic indicators within the wood-processing industry of the Slovak Republic through the use of time series theory. In the introductory part, the work focuses mainly on the characteristics of selected economic indicators and a description of the current state of the wood-processing industry in Slovakia. Within the methodology of the work, selected procedures of descriptive and mathematical statistics in the analysis of time series are described. In the practical part, attention is paid to the statistical analysis of the development of selected indicators in the DSP. In the end, the achieved results are summarized.
