ABSTRACT Bc. Ján Badžgoň: Surveying activities in the control of a bridge. Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Faculty of Civil Engineering. Department of Geodesy. Supervisor: Ing. Peter Kyrinovič, PhD. Bratislava 2016. 49 pages. The aim of the thesis is to determine the vertical displacement and pitch of the pillars of a bridge SO-00-250 during construction, which is located in Žilina, district Čadca, in the administrative area Skalité. The content of this thesis is a description of bridge building and engineering-geological and hydrological conditions of the surrounding area. In this work we present the characteristics of the assigned network description, the stabilization and configuration. We also report stabilization and configuration of the observed points the top of the building, the lower structure and points used to measure the tilting pillars of the bridge. Part of the stabilisation and configuration of the observed points is a graphical representation of the allocation of these points. In the next section we describe the actual progress of work measurement, which include measurement of height difference between the datum points of the network, measure height difference between the observed points lower structure, measuring the height difference between the observed points the top of the building, connecting measurements, measuring the horizontal displacement - tilt the pillars of the bridge. This section also describes devices that we take measurements and equipment used for measurement. When field performance we measured values processed and determined measurement precision and boundary error. We then determine whether the measurement is accurate enough. In the next section we describe a method of processing data measured vertical displacements and inclined pillars of the bridge, which consists of basic processing and a control measurement and testing statistics significance. Based on the statistics, we decided about the significance of horizontal and vertical movements.
