The Master's thesis deals with the proposal of a newly constructed hotel in the area of Cvernovka in Bratislava. The hotel represents a significant vertical dominant in the given area and our work introduces a comprehensive solution for this typological kind in the area with difficult building conditions. The congress hotel serves for accommodating guests and organising conferences. The hotel´s capacity is 442 beds. The conference part seats up to 1500 guests. The building has three underground floors and 24 overground floors. The object´s ground plan is irregular and it consists of two substances, a horizontal lower flat substance on which a second dynamic vertical substance is located. The work addresses architectural studies of the hotel in addition to the urban study of revitalization of the whole area of Cvernovka.
