Theoretical part is focused on the description of marketing activities and market value of the company. Moreover, theoretical part is aimed at defining the term goodwill and methods of valuing. Research part of the Diploma thesis deals with the valuing goodwill based on average profit method, super-profit method, capitalization method and annuity method of super-profit with analyses activities of the companies that increase the value of goodwill. Proposals how to improve ways of marketing activities that influence profit and value of goodwill are given in the thesis as well.
