This thesis presents, based on theoretical analyses and experimantal measurements, a suitability of contemporary terrestric methods for border demarcation of forestry grounds focusing on polygonometry. Theoretical part of thesis defines issues of measurements and demarcation in forestry mapping and current methods of forestry mapping are determined. Polygonometry is the most convenient method for determination of geodetic points in enclosed territory since adjusting of the traverse shape to the given territory is possible. Borders of forestry grounds must be precise enough in consider of criterion setted by standard. Practical part of thesis includes comparison of experimental materials and statement about appropriate aplication of method in practical solutions.
