The master thesis is focused on description and thereafter on execution of a budget management analysis of the selected territorial autonomy, where the town Sliač is used as an example. This master thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part define theoretical basis of mentioned issue, whilst the second part aims at practical analysis of the town income budget. The first part then consist of three sections, where the first section discusses the fiscal policy, the second section is aimed at definition of both, the National budget and the territorial autonomy budget and the third section is dedicated to the town and its budget. In the second part of the master thesis, the town Sliač is introduced along with the detailed characteristic of the income of the town for the period of years 2015 – 2019, together with general economic situation of the town Sliač based on the selected financial figures and also the town revenues in 2020 – 2023.
