The topic of my bachelor thesis was the evaluation of deer breeding in the district of Zvolen in the last five years. In the first part we deal with the description of the selected species of wild boar and the deer - Cervus elaphus, which is the most common game in the district of Zvolen. We also described the planning of breeding and hunting deer. In the next section we describe the characteristics of the Zvolen district and the description of hunting grounds and hunting areas in the Zvolen district. In the resulting tables we can observe the fulfillment of the shot-off plan and death for individual age and sex categories of deer in individual hunting grounds in the district of Zvolen. In the following table we can observe the percentage evaluation of the fulfillment of the shot plan in the district of Zvolen in total with the number of deaths in the hunting grounds. We then suggested a practice recommendation to improve the hunting plan in hunting grounds and reduce mortality. Finally, we evaluated the amount and type of trophies for each hunting season.
